Rode there Thanksgiving weekend, and all were clear. Chris S and a few others spent alot of time there clearing.

NO hunting on Sundays, so no worries there.

Rest of the week, all-on for hunting in the area that the MTB trails are in.

Two best entries for trail riding are No. 1 Carverton access (about 3/4 from intersection of Jug Rd, by Checkerboard) or on the back side where Green Rd hits Mt Olivet. I suggest Carverton side.

With the snow this week melting over the last couple days you'll have a little squish, but overall it should be pretty good.

Feel free to post when you'll be there and if you need a local guide. I haven't decided on my outdoors activity yet for tomorrow but it involves a bike and trail (and I live about 2m frrom Slocum).

well, since I've never learned the trail names well enough to share I'll just have to meet you @ Carverton.

Of course, you're going to have to deal with an older guy putzing his way along on a singlespeed since my main bike is down with a sick shock right now.

    Head up...
...less squish, the lower trails closer to the lake are always more muddy!

Sorry I didn't see this. I was a bit busy anyway *wink*. But, if you head to Slocum again, I'm typically happy to ride there as it is "eight whole minutes" from my house.

    Best,
    Mark
