    First Tracks..Ski and Bike!!!

Nice day....sun shined the entire day up our way....first tracks for both ski and bike today....kinda late for both but given the warm and snowless fall we have had......Skiing today was not so great.....we had about 5 inches of snow fall in our area.....after some shrinkage...we had plenty of rough spots...the biking was different...really good....

    First Tracks..Ski and Bike!!!

Looks like you guys had a great day of fun! I never thought riding in the snow would add so much resistance...Wow! What an incredible workout for an old, fat-arse like me. I want to try the cross-country skiing sometime. Lee tells me that is quite the workout, also! Great Pics, Jeff...Thanks!

I was out on the atv today riding around mountain top and thinking to myself I wonder who made all of these bike tracks. Good for you guys getting in a ride today. Crazy but good. I was planning to ride but wimped out.

    Good job! Tested Tested Tested...

Tested out my new winter shoes today too! The Crew at A-Town hooked me up with some great advice on winter riding shoes...and they had the goods....Specialized Defrosters......first ride they performed very well....toasty...one thin pair of wool socks and the Defrosters...........bought them big enough to put in a heat pack in the toe area for those night rides when it will be 20 degrees....

Cool stuff J. It would have been good for me to get out too, alas no so much on the happenin scale. Spent probably four hours or more giving my bike some really overdue mechanical lovin though - especially after that last ride it wanted it.

Is it bad if I can't turn the cranks by hand, after the chain has been taken off?

Don't be ridiculous, Bear! When was the last time you pedaled your bike with your hands? LMAO!!!
