Denton Family Bike Fest May 26 & 27

We're kicking of the season with our first annual "Denton Family Bike Fest" May 26 & 27. There will be activities, bike shops set up with demos, downhill clinics, xc tour rides, free-ride park set-up with expo/instruction, kids games, camping, live music, and more... Saturday morning at 8:30 will be the start of a cross-country "sprint" race; approximate 7.5 mile, very technical course, with lots of elevation changes. Sunday will be the downhill race with two course/class options. Lift-Servcie for downhill, freeride, and cross-country will be running on our normal schedule of 9:00am - 4:00pm each day. Come in Friday night and set up camp for a great weekend of riding to kick off our 2007 season. Hope to see you all on the trails. Remember, Denton is the all rider mountain...great Downhill and Cross-Country, for all ages and ablilities, all in one spot!

sorry for the delay...I was out of town for a week. We're setting the final downhill courses this weekend with the help of some local "experienced" riders...will post classes, etc. beginning of next week.

We've been compared to Snowshow, Whiteface, and Plattekill. One thing we've heard alot in our feedback is the great variety of available terrain...beginner to extreme for both the downhill and crosscoutnry riders...we have it all!!! Camping is available on site $15 per night during the season...$3 per person per night during the festival. Check the web-site for the trail map...the summer side of our site is finally up! Hope to see you on the trails.
