    Denton

Hey guys! I had to take a moment to let every one know what a great ride Nanker and myself had at Denton today. Trails are great and plenty scary. A bit different than what I have been riding but that made it all the better. Not alot of rocks, that was a nice break. We met up with a real good guy Lou who guided us to many trails we have not rode before and made our day even more enjoyable. Thanks Lou! I can recommend a trip there for just about any one. Their where trail bike and down hill bikes. The last weekend is coming up next week. Can't forget it is a nice trip at this time of year. I am sure Nanker will be posting some pics in the near future and will have some comments of his own.

I had a great time - thanks for driving Mini. Let me also thank our most gracious host Lou for showing us around and generally scaring the shiznit out of me on more than one occasion. The trails at Denton are a nice change of pace - not to much man made stuff, not too many rocks but very loose and whiteknuckle steep. Not too many pix, but here's a few of the ones that Mini took:

How is that place? More dh oriented trails or tech/xc type trails?

It's fun. There isn't anything real technical on the DH trails - just extremely steep on the more difficult trails. There are also xc trails there but I haven't seen what they're like. On the downhill side there is such a variety of trails that you can have fun on any type of bike from a hardtail to a full on downhill bike - there's something for everyone. The atmosphere is very laidback and it was a very nice change of pace from the normal lift stuff that we do.
