Yup... This has been a big issue.
A bunch of guys actually started a FaceBook page "Bring back MTB at Blue Mountain".

    Can't wait!

I never got to ride there...
I was recovering from a knee injury... By the time I was healed, they were done!

I'll be up there this spring though!

I have been hoping for this. Very good news. They already have some experience with us mountain bikers and their mountain is pretty big.

I hope the whole trail infrastructure is ready to open up without too much in the way of repairs. I also hope they build some more man-made features (for all ability levels) as things get moving.
You better just go ahead and drop that seatpost down to the reflector... the trail gets pretty rough down there.

Anyone show up for opening weekend? If so, how was it? I'd like to get some information on Blue Mountain, since it's so close to my home. Amount of trails, types, XC trails, how decent is the lift service, etc. Have a 5" travel bike and was wondering how many of the trails would be accessible. Never done downhill and have no experience hitting jumps but would like to try.

Should be able to ride everything on a 5" bike depending on your skill level...
Haven't been up there yet as I was riding Launch on Blues opening day.

Here is a good video of what to expect...

Here's a map in case you didn't see it:

Blue Mountain Ski Area & Resort | Pennsylvania Poconos Mountain Biking
    Transition Bandit 29
    Surly Ogre
Surly Necro Pugs w/ Lefty PBR

Thanks, seemed to have missed the map when I've looked at that page. Are you going up there for the NEOC race on Sunday?
