I went to High Rocks last night and found the trail to be surprisingly solid and mud-free, but there were a few new trees down. I'd bet wissahickon is similar, considering it usually drains much more quickly than HR.

Yeah I sort of guessed it might be Ok since there was a group that road last night out at wissa. There were no complaints from them.

I will pop out tonight to break in yet another new chain. PC-1, 8-speed chains just dont seem to hold up for some reason

Chainline is straight and all! I must be real unlucky so I went out and bought a KMC and a pintle chain (I think), both 1/8 inch thick. NICE.

I'll give it a thrashing out at belmont tonight and hopefully I wont have to walk home again with a chain in my hand

    Hey there,

I walked out on a small part of the orange trails and they seemed to be ok. Slightly damp, but definately ride-able. Will be out there later this afternoon.

Rode Wissahickon from Valley Green out to Gorgas Lane last night and it was in good condition. Should be even better this weekend with the heat coming in.
