    Bear Creek conditions after rain

I had plans to hit Bear Creek this weekend...didn't think we were getting the amount of rain we did here in the Western Philly 'burbs.

Does BC dry out quickly? I figure it is a mountain and rocky, so it might be OK by the weekend.

    Any locals care to comment?

Honestly, we got a ton of rain. But I think Bearcreek is about the best bet locally to get out this weekend. There may be a few soft spots on the northern (downhill CW) side, but I'd bet most of it will be ok, as I'm sure the water just ran off. I think I'm going to give it a go Sunday. Lets Ride!

Sorry Gents , ended up staying local because of the late afternoon thunderstorm threats . It should be fine today . It drains really well .

FYI, did Trex late morning with my kids. Mostly good. A couple puddles here and there. Be careful on the low point of the first, big drop in HP3 as there's mud there. God, I love that place!
