Sign the waiver at the trailhead and ride. I live very close by, but I'm sure other riders will chime in on their thoughts. No charge. Very (to me) challenging trails, very rocky and technical, soooo..if that's what you like, you'll love it.

Where exactly in Bear Creek is this? I live close enough (20/25 mins away) but I'm not really familiar with the area?

Jeez. I live in Bear Creek but don't think it is the same one you are talking about. I would like to know where the other one is though.

The MAC series will be hosting its finals at Bear Creek. This will include DH and a Y-format dual race. Racers Edge and Reading Racing will be putting this thing together Sept. 16-17. We will be cutting trails sometime in the near future. The trails will stay open for bikes. This should be a cool event and maybe a start to a good friendship with the mtn.

Check-readingracing.com and racersedgeonline.com for info and updates.

MASS will be there on Sept 24 for their final event of the season.

i pre-road the race course last year and it is a very fun place. extremely technical and quite scary in the wet, which is how the conditions were when i was there.

since it's a ski mountain it's exactly as you would expect. tough long climbs and quick steep decents.
