    any GT dealers?

Looking for a shop that sells GT mountain bikes within say, 50 miles of Allentown. Anybody know of one?
    Thanks.

    Yeah I tried that.
The five I called all said they either don't sell GT at all, or only sell BMX bikes. I even tried emailing GT from the link on their website. They told me that they have no way of knowing which dealers have mtbs. I figure that must make invoicing tough, but what do I know?

Cedar bike in Scranton and *****on City. IDK if that's too far for you though. What models were you looking at? I can check and see if they have what you're looking for in stock. ttyl, Fahn

Thanks for the offer. Scranton isn't too far. I'm interested in the Peace 9r Multi, with the 3-color paint job. Don't know if I'd need a small or a medium though.

    GT Dealer

Wheel Fun in Wilkes-Barre sells GT. ph# is 570-820-7676. Not sure if they carry all models. I've seen mtn bikes in there when I stop by to browse.

if it's so hard to find them, would it be a good choice to buy one... it's always best to stay local for the service etc needed down the road and to support your homies... with so many awesome bikes out there to choose from and so many good shops in the area, why kill yourself trying to find a gt???

Have you tried hart's cyclery? I'm a mechanic there and I myself am ordering a GT Sanction (frameset specifically). I'm sure the owner Ross would be able to order you any bike/framset from GT that you wanted. Any Questions Give me a call 1-609-947-7472. Hart's is located in Pennington NJ (08534) no more than 5 miles across the Washington Crossing bridge.

Hey guys, thanks for keeping the thread alive and for your suggestions.
I did finally buy a Peace 9r multi a week ago. I was encouraged when I saw them start showing up on Performance's website (they don't actually have them in the Mont. store), but I found a 08 leftover at a shop in CT on ebay and got a killer deal.
I've only gotten to give it a quick spin around the neighborhood but I can tell it's going to be fun.
I do support the locals, but I had my heart set on this particular bike and there are no local GT dealers anymore, so...
