I selling off my Bighit frame and am trying to decide between that and a Banshee Morphine. How long is the fork your rocking? What does it weigh in at?

    Nice build BTW.

    Beautiful Bike Keith

Nice to see you came over to the dark side and put a Marzocchi on this bike!

Looking forward to seeing it in person soon.

    Good job!

Sensational job keith, very sensible and sturdy build! I look forward to hearing more ride reports, and of course, more pics.

When you get a chance, I'd love to know how the 456 compares to your previous bike (a specialized hardtail, wasn't it?).

    Cheers!

i try to keep 2 bikes and my main ride is a specialized stumpy fsr that i dont really like giving the business all the time(riding it to hard) so i always keep a spare. the hardtail before this was my first bike a hardrock pro and then a built up nashbar frame which was cool at first but not good for more than an hour of riding(got really uncomfortable).i'm hoping this will be the one, but after the money it better be the one.

If I do know you, I'm sorry for not remembering, I can't remember the last time I was at a Bennigans.

? Only people I have done any wet road rides with are a couple dudes, not named Ted or Jay. Where was the ride? There might be more then one of me, thats why I had to go with dwnhlldav for a screen name as opposed to downhilldave.

i'd buy tickets to that event. could do it right in front of the valley green inn on a saturday afternoon. the look on those faces eating lunch on the outside deck would be awesome0.

keith - the bike is looking good. glad it's finished. my new bike project is taking forever. guess that's what i get for taking the better part of a month just to pick a frame builder.

Hey lance - I'm thinking of going the custom route myself. Curious to know who you decided to go with, and why?

    Cheers!

PS: Sorry keith, lotsa hijacking in this thread.

To clear up any confusion I am now going to change my name to graceful dave. I like the joust idea. When I see this downhill dave I'll slap him with a glove and challange him to a dual

Edit: Any idea how to change a user name without starting a whole new account.
