I'm sorry i wish i could help but i don't ride a single speed. But if i was to recommemd something I would say that anything you ride on a xc type course because their will be 2 untimed climbs back to the ridge top for another downhill oriented stage. you don't want to have to kill yourself pushing your bike or cooking your legs with the big rings. Unless you want too of course.

I'd keep that quiet so the disadvantage of those who never rode there is kept to a minimum. Fahn

I should be rehabed so if it doesn't interfere with the BMER race, I should be there.

the course set up this year i think makes it worth the trip. freshly trimmed trails and new features. Camping the night before is no sweat......just select a tent site or bunkhouse option on bike reg when registering or PM me for some insider details.

Thanks! unfortunately I just found out about a PT test I have to take on Monday, so I wont be able to make it (dont want to risk being sore). Looks like an awesome event. Definitely wish I could go, I always love checking out new places to ride

If you're on the fence about this race.....get off of it, and go. It was run pretty darn great last year, for a 1st annual race, and I'm sure this year will be even more awesome!

Last year I did this race on a 29er HT with a 80mm Front Fork.....OUCH I know, but boy it was fun fun fun. And nothing was undoable on my Hard Tail, however; if I were to do it again this year, (Which I can't I'm working ) I'd take a FS bike.

But anyway, go to this race, good casue, great coarse, good people, and well it's friggin FUN!
