Good job! 2/6/10 2 Rides, Two Parks, One Day

Ride 1, Seven Tubs in the Snow

With a light coating of Snow the Seven Tubs trails were a real challenge! No one else was out on these trails and I know why. Every element of traction, balance, and ability was needed to ensure a safe trip across Big Flat Off Camber rocks that on a good day in the summer are a hand full. This was truly a ride made for Moto guys. Dealing with traction was the key, but trying to get a run was nonexistent. Braking was the other nightmare as Slippy Logic was to just go with the slide till traction could be found. All of us would do it again in a heartbeat. That's how much of a Challenge and Fun it was!

Ride 2, Frances Slocum, Frozen, but no Snow

Ride 2 was a whole lot different. Little or no snow and the ground was frozen making it like pavement compared to Seven Tubs. A few hikers were out today and the trails were open except for one blowdown, that we removed.

As you can see by our multi park rides on the same day we are gearing up something really special in the spring time.... shhhhhhh it's a secret... LOL

Wow, you're nuts for riding the Tubs with snow on it - but I already knew that! I haven't been there since the fall leaf-blowing/trim session. Any issues that need to be taken care of there?

That was a super easy vid to make, the ones with the helmet cam require watching hours of video, cutting and editing, but I have fun with it, and hearing that other people enjoyed them makes it all worthwhile.

    Good job!

    DR6

Your vids are really fun to watch. That sux about the Windows 7 MP deal. I imagine Vista works great also, and most were made with that anyways correct?

    Edit add:

I just cracked up thinking maybe the Canned Ham is buried under feet of snow, and the Yamaha is well preserved under 7 thousand feet of snow down in that mining hole!

    LMAO

I think I have over 200 Videos uploaded to YouTube, you would appreciate the one with the Owl, there was drinking involved with that one!

My last computer was Windows XP, the Vista version of movie maker I downloaded looks just about the same as XP, I'm just glad it works, I would be lost without it.
