Good job! 1/25/10 Monday Rain Ride

Started out with rain, but ended with brilliant sun...

... some pics of the ice on the Susquehanna River moving quite fast with the rising water. The red brick building was once the Forest Castle brewery located on RT 92. It was served by the Lehigh Valley Railroad and they would roll kegs up the ramp right into the boxcars for delivery. Other pics include a great waterfall that was in a past pic with no water at all, now flowing very strong, and the Coxton Railroad bridge.

    More pics soon:

Man, I applaud your devotion, but riding in the weather this morning is a little bit of a sickness in manifestation. ;^)

    Keep the rubber side down,

    Good job!

I'm trying to wear the knobs off the tires with the hope new ones will magically appear!... LOL

Plus it's better than Facebook, I see all my neighbors in real life.

    Pics are up:

"foot to pedal, wheel to dirt, there is no substitute for the act of riding "

I would never say no cause I know you could do it. It's not very strong most of the year, unless it rains hard. jkad, that waterfall is pretty high beyond where you can see in the pic. You might be doing 35 MPH by the time you hit bottom!

Then the problem is it runs under that building and from there the stream goes through a tunnel about 500 yards to the river. I never looked in there, but now you have me interested.

I sense you and I should never hang out together in person. I think we would get in a lot of trouble... LMAO

I will check and let you know!
