Wildlife you have seen on trail...post your pics...
Here's a shot of some type of minature frog....saw quite a few of these on ride at Kingdom Trails this past weekend....Northern Vermont has had a record breaking rainfall in June and July....never seen these little dudes before. Post up pics of wildlife you have seen on the trails....and where you were riding when you snapped the picture. Ride On!
There are two paths you can go by but in the long run........
I don't know if you call this "the trail", but my wife snapped this one in our front yard about a minute before I came rolling in the front walk after a ride. (Of course, blindly around those bushes - luckily he had moved already).
Took these while riding the Cades Cove loop in the Smoky Mtns. Not many places where you can see this much wildlife in just two days while on a bike. Plus one pic of my American Eskimo dog..

Jeff,
My wife and I have those in our backyard, but I think they are just juveniles not a specific species. My wife and I debated this when we first found them, and then they started getting bigger over the summer.
It is difficult for some people to use the two words "too" and "to" appropriately.

I damn near ran over a black shell, black/orange head turtle one day. didn't think to get pics, tho. I just ducked around it because I thought it was a rock, then it moved. got off my bike, went to take a closer look, and it was a turtle. I just sorta stood behind it and moved my hand close to it, which was enough to get it to move off the trail. it would have sucked if someone who knows how to get airtime off of a small rock had mistaken it for a rock and tried to get airtime off of it

I need to start bringing a camera more often. So far this year I've seen 2 bobcats, 5 coyotes, a massive wild boar, a golden eagle, and more deer and turkeys than I can count. Actually came within a few inches of hitting one of the turkeys and did run right over a baby rattlesnake. But, alas, no pictures
P.S.-great shot of the mnt goat. Those guys are pretty shy, its lucky to get such a close shot.
