Who makes a 'position adjustable' bottle mount?

    Hello all,

I'm looking for a bottle mount that has some position adjustability in it's relation to the mount holes. Basically, I'd like a mount that can be slid forward up the downtube, away from a shock that has a reservoir. I checked problem solvers, even emailed them, and they said they are 'thinking' about doing one based upon consumer demand.

Or, does anyone know of a bottle mount that has a static position that is further 'forward' compared to other bottle mounts?

Thanks. I know this isn't a very 'passionate' thread, but couldn't think of a better forum to reach a diverse cross section of riders.

I don't know of any that are available. I looked for a while too.

My Turner had the mount up because people use piggy-back shocks. I don't and needed room to mount a large bottle in my small frame.

You can make one pretty easy with a piece of thin aluminum or even plastic, like a piece of toothbrush or something.

    Hope this helps.

I think the "x-lab aero cage optimizer" is what you are looking for. I searched around for something similar for my tri bike. this was the only thing I could find. I never bought it because I thought it was too much moola.

Velocity used to make some cages that used aluminum sandwich mounts and the cage slid up and down on them. They're getting hard to find-not made anymore but here's a couple of possible sources:
