White River Trail - Branson, Missouri

Opened in 2011, this gem is nestled right next to Table Rock State Park in Branson, Missouri. Before then, the only riding in town as a 2.5 mile paved trail which was....well you all know how exciting paved trails are when you are itching for some dirty dirt. Me and my friend Tom went down there a few weekends ago and I must say I was pretty impressed with the trails - a huge kudos to the trail crew for putting some nice quality trail right there at the edge of town.

Now when I take the fam to Branson, definitely no excuse to leave the bike home and makes eating that wonderful food down there less guilty knowing there is some dirt to help burn those calories off nearby!

Here is the vid, hope you all enjoy.

I don't use Strava. Don't need an application to tell me I am slow because I already know.

August 3rd we will open up Two Rivers Bike Park.

It's about 30 miles north in Nixa, MO. 7+ miles of single track, over a mile of downhill courses, skills area...more to come. It's worth the trip to spend a day there and White River.

(excuse my riding...I'm not a great rider)

^^^ THAT looks like tremendous fun!

Is that the Contour GPS that tracks the speed/elevation data?
Alcohol may lead nowhere, but it sure is the scenic route!

That's the beginner downhill....we are working on flow to get the tabletops to catch more air. The Contour is the Contour+ 2. There is an intermediate downhill jump/flow trail that I am not quite up to skill yet. That will produce some great footage when done. The southwest Missouri and northwest Arkansas area are great singletrack areas and are only gettimg better.

    Looks like a fon trail.
