Take pictures of course! Here's my baby in the works. I have wheels now, DT Swiss wheels, hubs, spokes. Now I need a fork. Going rigid again, but I figure the new frame needs something more than the old Surly fork. Someone said, "any fork will feel like suspension after riding that thing!" It will match the frame, of course. I have picked the colors but (obviously) haven't sent the bike to Spectrum yet.
The last photo is what a moody little camera takes when it's not feeling well.
No, it's an Edge Cycles Neo (singlespeed) frame. It's made of Colombus FOCO and Utra FOCO tubing. The 15.5" frame weighs in at just under 3 pounds, very light for a steel frame.
Yes, the Mutant himself. We're trying to convince him to move back to Fruita-land, but for now he's hanging out in Emeryville (sp) welding for all sorts of folks.
Wow - you call those studded? How can that low stud count even contribute?
I'd like to see those one-measly-stud-at-the-time tires on the trails we rode yesterday. Those who didn't make the climbs and dismounted their bikes halfway up, proceeded to slide back down in a flailing unorganized heap until they came to rest way down at the bottom. With those tires, you couldn't even stay on the trail during the flat sections.
Geir (Will be doing 40 miles on sheer ice tomorrow morning)
Hey, are you heading South any time soon? I haven't had anyone bring me Mexican vanilla in a while. Last person was Tiggerider and it's all gone! At least I still have some European chocolate for baking.
What kind of dog is that? I'm thinking of getting a dog. Thanks.
