What to do with a perfect November day? Ride from dawn to dusk! (Epic ride video)

The weather usually gets puuurfect this time of year in Tucson. At that point our local mountain calls to us, even louder than normal.

We leave the cars at home, roll out in the pre-dawn dark, meet up at various points in town, then get to climbing. Pavement and trails take us from 2000' to 9000', then it's almost all singletrack back down into town. But never before the sun sets. Just the way we like it -- watching the sun rise and set from the seat of a bike.

I think the stats are something like 90 miles and 12,000' and 15 hours on the bike, but the experience is the most important part. Hopefully the video provides a bit of a glimpse into that.

I got sucked into your video and overlooked your stats -- "something like 90 miles and 12,000' and 15 hours on the bike". Remarkable numbers and you still had energy to fart around with the camera.
