Weekends suck... Photos to prove it.

Especially when your local trails are a mudfest. Solution? Drive a scant 1.5 hours and ride where there is no mud!

Notice the shorts and short sleeves. We endangered ourselves to exposure!

    First little series:

    I love red sandstone:

We were having no fun at all!

    Another series:

    First go round:

Then he decides to take it easy...

The views were just too much:

So boring, the ride had some climbing the walls:

My ride (complete with gears and suspension!):

Until next time, Good Morning and Happy Valentine's Day!

Beautiful pics! Jealous here in Monument, where it is warm but messy due to snowmelt.

Looks horrible. Glad I spent the weekend in the house and not in the cold, harsh winter like you guys.

So jealous. Looks like your knolly got her much-deserved "spa day".

I need to get to Moab. Soon.

Amasa Back! My very first ride in Moab, a waitress convinced us to ride this unknown trail [to us] because of the wind that day. Thanks, beautiful sunset at the end too.

Not this year. Something about being a mom and a business owner and blah, blah, blah....

Doesn't look like I'll be racing until the 12 Hours of Mesa Verde. This is part of my training regimen:

    Yeah, it's a breve....

Yes, the pics are fabulous; the set with the guy in turquoise jersey and yellow rims really snaps against the red sandstone.

That really sucks - I mean look at it - sunshine, friends, bikes, dry rocky trails and all that geology. Much prefer our dank, cold, socked out, grey, gradual start to each day to all that sudden brightness and color

Crikey, only three weeks to the Arizona Spring Fling - not sure if I'm going to bother

Weve gotten some shorts weather lately ourselves, pretty unheard of for the Pac NW. A couple of 50+ days with sunshine make you remember what its like. Great pics, looks like it could hurt your eyes though.....thanks for sharing!!

Raced it last year. Not only is the trail fantastic, but the race organization is, too.
