Yeah, I was thinking about that. I live in a very urban area, Southern California, and we have thousands of miles of trails to ride. They live up there in the forest with millions of acres of land, with nothing on it, and they have no where to ride. It doesn't make sense.

Our local situation pretty much mirrors the movie. Rogue jump lines torn out...group of concerned builders organize and become an IMBA chapter...state recognizes our commitment and legitimacy as a chapter of an international organization...

Long story short, Trail Solutions is coming in June to break ground on a brand new DH trail.

Mountain bikers bring money to communities that are bike friendly. When communities figure this out, it's much easier for them to except us.

Bummer man, Netflix doesnt work here in Okinawa. Time for a new IP address.

Watched it last night. Its really too bad what happened in Montana. I hope that they get that law reversed. Thousand of miles of trails with no bikes on them and I would guess largely unused...seems like a waste and an infringement on freedoms of mountain bikers, who may have built the trails!

Watched Pedal-Driven on Saturday, then found "Ride the Divide" on Netflix yesterday. Both good flicks.

Nice. I missed this two weeks ago. Dialing up NetFlix tonight.
Haven't watched this yet but sounds like our situation. Small town. Hundreds of thousands of acres of public land but not enough mountain bike trails..... and some of the best high country singletrack was lost a couple years ago to the White Pine Wilderniss Act. Frustrating when you know no one is using those trails now and they're mostly just reverting back to nature from lack of use.

thanks for the heads up on the movie. I thought cautiously optimistic was the main message. Bad stuff has happened but things can improve
