    Carbon Post + Jump =

Something for us to make fun of. They actually looked surprised Dude, you landed on the saddle from a 3-4ft to flat on a short travel bike, that might have angered a much more robust post-never mind a carbon one-that was probably over tightened because it slipped on the last jump.

Dude, my saddle is the same height it is when I climb for 2 hours. I went off a jump to flat without lowering my seat and landed on it breaking the post. How did THAT happen?
Imagine the conversation between that guy and Easton tomorrow? "I was just riding along when...."

Being a Weight Weenie is worth it when you know when to lower your seat.

... part of being a weight weenie is knowing when and where to be a weight weenie.

Ive landed like that but just folded the rails on the saddle. Believe it or not, I use a CF post on my bmx. Then again, I think all of 2.5" of it are exposed.
