post up the photos of your turkey ride as I am off the bike.
13 miles and 1500 ft of climbing... good for some turkey!
thanks for the stoke
We had a club post Thanksgiving ride "Burn the Turkey".
28 miles of mostly single track. Beautiful weather, near perfect trail conditions.
20+ riders, a few crashes, a few flats....but a awesome ride overall!
Here in Fairfax the Thanksgiving Appetite Seminar is a tradition dating back nearly 40 years, before the term "mountain bike" was coined.
Turnout was down a little this year because heavy rains had made the route pretty muddy, but a few hundred turned out. It's a tough 20 mile ride with 3500 feet of climbing and lots of mud, but this kid went the distance.
Went on a solo ride in the morning...My wife had just gotten back from 3 weeks in NJ working on relief efforts with the Coast Guard, and brought me back 2 dozen (yes 2 dozen!) donuts from a small Polish bakery that my family from NJ has been going to forever. I didn't have any clif/powerbars for the ride and it was a national day of gluttony..So you can see my mid-ride snack perched on my saddle.
