All our trails are in "molting" season. They are shedding water and are super nasty and soupy right now, so we drove about 1.5 hours to some nice hard rock. There the trails were also shedding water, but the sandstone doesn't turn into peanut butter sludge the way our trails do.
I'm planning to ride this weekend (with the mud, it will probably be on the road), but the big event for me will be our annual Chinese New Year party. I'll be doing a lot more baking and cooking this weekend to bid the dragon farewell and welcome the Year of the Snake! Part of me wants to grab a set of skis and hit the top of the Mesa for some Nordic fun.

I was only in Moab once and it will be seven years ago this July, so watching the vid really brought back memories of the most unique terrain I've ever ridden.
