    Strava Joule equivalent

I know the physics pretty well, but when I ride my bike it stays on my desk. So I started wondering what kind of things we do everyday that requires exactly 1 Joule of energy to perform.

    1) pressing the enter key
    2) opening a door
    3) one pedal stroke
    4) opening a beer can
    5) chewing on a clif bar

    Your turn...

    Strava doesn't show kilojoules used.

Strava shows kilojoules produced. It's power output not power input.

How do you ride your bike on your desk?

    I was wondering that, too.

On the other hand, it must be easy to set Strava records that way.

As soon as I get back to my desk and I'll have it figured out, I promise.
