The heat is on here in Vegas. Redmon and i decided to start up the sunrise rides at bootleg. We did the"new trail" out until it ended. This trail is shaping up to be really cool. A bunch of g-outs and some fast woopy doo sections keep you flowing. It looks like it's still got a ways to go as far as being finished. Check out these strange bugs we came across. Siamese black thing.
A high contrast shot of Redmon and a ghostly martini glass that appeared.
Notice of trail closure on the kiosk
Notice the river mtn. trail has been renamed to "historic river mtn. HIKING trail"
if my memory serves, they look like blister beetles... can you say spanish fly?!
interesting bit of entomological trivia there... google spanish fly with Marquis de Sade

We have something really similar to that in FL. We call 'em love bugs.
They swarm like crazy once in a while, disappear the rest of the time. Strange.
If you drive the highways for a few hours at a time when they're in season, they splat and cover the front of your vehicle until you can't see through them any longer. And if you don't wash them off right away, they eat right through your paint and leave holes. They have some kind of strange super-acid substance in their bodies.
