    Shipping Bike Overseas?

Need to ship a bike to New Zealand. Anyone found a cheaper alternative than USPS, UPS, DHL or FedEx all of whom come in over $500.

Don't have the option of taking it on the plane with me.

Pre-rode Sea Otter course on Sunday. If the rain holds off trail is going to be in great shape.

Shipping cost may not be the only problem.

You're likely to get customs issues that will either delay and/or increase the cost as well.
If you don't like climbing, then my rides are three times more fun than yours.

Currently international deliveries are available to and from the U.S., Canada, England, Ireland, Wales, Canada, France, Switzerland and the Caribbean. Sports Express is constantly expanding the list of international destinations it serves, so if the destination you want is not listed here, please call Sports Express at 800-357-4174 and ask for the International Desk.

the 1-800 number is free, give them a call? Good luck, Jim

Have you tried calling the airlines to see what they charge for freight? Its got to be cheaper than what you have been quoted so far. Make sure there is not an ounce of dirt on it either as NZ customs can be very strict. FWIW When I fly international with Qantas they dont charge anything extra for surfboards or bikes in boxes.
    blah blah blah
