    A Ride

    Brino the traveling salesman visited yesterday. We know each other through a mutual E-friend. I last rode with him two years ago. He likes slow tech and rides great for an old dude He does not whine, complain or make excuses and is a joy to ride with.

    We spent the afternoon rolling around the Dells area of Prescott AZ.

    We started on the newish Constellation trail system.

    Brino warming up on a little roller





    This required more commitment so the tongue came out.



    A tight notch.






    Brino is a good rider, but a crummy photographer:



    We finished up Constellation and moved to the Lakeshore trail around Watson Lake. The terrain didn't change much.



    We were sweating sunlight so unfortunately we just got a few photos on this ridiculously fun terrain.

    Enel how u liking ur stumpy compared to ur other Lenz bike's u had? Is ur fork a modified fork?

    My impressions haven't really changed from what I wrote up here:

    And Now for Something Completely Different

    Since that thread: I added super granny gears. Ditched the Brain for a Triad shock happily. Swapped the Reba for a shaved crown Fox 36 fork limited to just under 140mm travel and I really like the package. The stiffness of this fork puts to shame anything else I have ridden in 29" world.
