I transitioned into mountain biking from the BMX flatland freestyle scene. That sure helped out on techy AZ trails as I learned to ride with gears & suspension. Lately a couple of my old east coast riding buddies have been posting up some old pics, so I thought I'd put a blog post together from the 'good ol days'.
It was fun going down memory lane, I hope you get a kick out of it.
Thanks! About once a year I still dust off the old GT to see what I can still do, not a whole bunch but it works up a good sweat!
Weaselnoze: I believe a few of the pics are from Lansdale, I recall going down there for a couple of street comps in the early 90's. I know I have some clips on video.
PdlPwr: York was the epicenter for all things flatland back in the day!! Plywood Hoods!!
Great read, thanks for sharing. That sure brought me back in time to my childhood!
