    Proud to display the flag

I remember a while back seeing some of the professional cyclists having a sticker made that had the flag of their country with their last name below it and sticking it to their bikes. The one I seen was on the top tube. Does anybody do this? I thought it was pretty cool to see the American flag with the racers name underneath. Anybody have pictures?

I do not do this, but if I were to, I would not put America's flag, but Germany's flag, from 1914.

I have Flags on my trailer of every country I have ridden in, if I have not ridden the entire country then under that country's flag the State/Province/District flag. My center flag is the insignia from my old ODA.

Hey guys, I race 1/8th scale nitro RC cars and I am sponsored by a RC graphics company called Upgrade RC. They make name with flag decals but the biggest is 2.5in long. They do great work.

I wear the flag every day at work. I prefer my bikes unadorned. They already have enough going on without me adding anything.

I have a little totem animal sticker on my bikes. A couple of them look very much like a lot of the other bikes at their appropriate venues. So a distinguishing feature is nice.

One year, my team did a sticker order. Turned out the guy who put it together didn't talk to our sponsor first. They weren't too happy and we haven't done it again.

I like to limit the extra stuff I put on my bikes.

I too wear a flag everyday at work. I have a flat and gloss black framed Lurcher. But your post made me think about an IR type flag emblem on my bike. If I could find a subdued flag sticker I might put it on my bike.

One of my bikes came with a Union Jack flag on it ... so no need to add another one
I used to ride to Win ... Now I ride to Grin

I don't need to display a flag to demonstrate my patriotism. I served in the Army (E-5, Honorable Discharge), which is more of a statement than putting a sticker on my bike or wearing a cute little pin on my lapel.

Wait, did I say lapel? I don't have any. I'm a workin' man.

Come to think of it, my company-issue T-shirts have a little flag on the left sleeve.
