    One Great Trip *Video inside*

Just got back from a great trip around the West. We rode Tahoe, Mono area, Mammoth, toured Bodie Ghost Town, hiked in Great Basin National Park, summited Wheeler Peak, and hit some hot springs on the way home. 1600 miles in one week with some great stops.

Nice video. I really enjoyed the lightning strike and the potentially 5,000 year old trees.

Looks like you guys had a great road trip. Thanks for putting together the montage/edit. Great job.

You passed through my stomping grounds. I live about 60 miles from Great Basin NP in Ely. Did you do any mountain biking in/near Ely?
There's some great trails at Cave Lake SP just outside Ely, and some a fun little loop at Sacramento Pass just outside the NP.

Looks like a great time was had, awesome trails, good editing. Small suggestion - shoot in 3x4 mode to help in giving room for composition errors, then crop to 16x9 when editing to really fill the frame.
One day your life will flash before your eyes, will it be worth watching??

We did not get a chance to do any riding near Ely NV as we were just doing the park thing there but there looks to be some good trails so the next time I am through there I want to check them out. Austin NV also looks to have some fun loops too.

Thanks for the tips I will check it out. I was most concerned with not putting in tons of riding view from the cockpit, nothing more boring than looking at arms and knees the whole time. It is funny that when you take video pointing forward with the chest or helmet mount you think, Wow this will be so cool when I replay it, but it really isn't. With no human element in a video things get boring quick. Thanks for the tips.
