... and if we just ... OK - Who likes the new forums?

At first I HATED the new format, but now its grown on me.
    Anyone else like them????????????????
Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in his shoes...
That way, when you criticize him you're a mile away and you have his shoes.

Sorry to hear I'm your last friend. Don't worry, things will get better.

OK, are you ready for this?

    Are you?

I'm friggin riding again!!!!!!! Nothing big, in fact its like starting over again. However, I've been in the saddle 8 of the last 14 days. I've only seen dirt twice, but more is on the way. I'm planning a week off next month just for ride time.

This may be a temporary reprieve of my situation, but I'm lovin every minute of it.

    Mastered the tailwhip yet?

You betcha. Between now and fall we are wanting to get up to IN twice. I should know weeks in advance. If you can't make one of them work, maybe the Chicago clan can take me on another tour (if I can get my ass in shape). We'll make something work.

Oh, and I'm not giving up my gears.

I think the forums are much improved. I wasn't able to use my old login (not that I was a very active poster anyway), but that's trivial.

Actually I hardly ever posted in the old forums, so maybe the old forums are better for some ... But I've grown to like the new forums.

i rarely used the old ones. maybe thats because im still somewhat new to the XC thing. but anyways, i like the new format. it's much more "modern" than the old one. the avatars and profiles are a nice bonus.

I also hated how on the old forums, and active thread would die out once it went to the previous page.

I also like being able to track what others are checking out, the birthdays, and the Pm feature.

Tracking the info under "my account" is also handy.

    two thumbs up

First and foremost the forum is free! Hence we should not put it down. But since you asked the forum in my opinion is a direct reflection of what a productive forum should be nowadays. The old forum was getting very outdated in terms of what a forum should be.
    Cheers!

From day one I liked these forums, in terms of the general layout and the features it provides. After using it for a good while now, I am hooked all the extra little features are just great, the PM feature is good, and I have no idea how I got by without it.

I still go to the old ones for the purposes of finding archived information, I still find lots of helpful info there.
