Yeah crazy that's Co and we're in monsoon conditions out here in Ca! My daughter just sent info saying how nice it is out there today, in Aurora anyway.

So is the Lefty on the Pivot or the Felt?
Wait, who did he tell you that?....

On the Pivot. May add one to the Felt, but haven't decided yet, since the Pivot is the main ride.

I also rode here in No Utah yesterday, with similar (but slightly more damp) conditions. Almost unheard of on 12/1. Hopefully it's not going to be another sucky winter for snow.

I think I'd agree that CCW is the most fun way, but I like to occasionally mix it up for variety and to get that long climb up to the Stanley Canyon trailhead for training. And the downhill through the woods and near the golf course is pretty fun, too! The downside is that little climb back to the lot (I park across from the stadium).

Thanks for the compliments on the music. I think most bike rides are magic carpet rides!

Monsoon conditions means a seasonal wind/weather change that happens every year. While the monsoon in Arizona and the SW usually brings thunderstorms, thunderstorms are not a "monsoon" and sometimes the terms "we are experiencing a monsoon" or "monsoons" are used, which are incorrect.

I think you guys are experiencing El-Nino/Pineapple Express, lots of moisture from mid/lower latitudes, but not a "monsoon". Monsoon would be if it started coming up from Mexico or something every year at the same general time.

I've wanted to move to Colorado for about 6 years now. But a couple years ago I got my dream job and I'll never leave it. Now I'm stuck in soggy-winter-PNW...

Funny. I love it here, too... but was stationed up there for many years and am also looking at jobs up there and would move back. Though I think I'd make somewhat frequent trips back (Western Slope, probably) for riding adventures!
