Smile Not difficult to keep the Passion and interest in biking up and flowing.

Wow! With all the sexy frames on the market now and new innovations like hydraulic brakes, FS, different types of FS, air shocks and wheel sizes it is not difficult at all to be passionate about biking, biking mechanics, and riding these smooth rolling machines.

"new innovations like hydraulic brakes, FS, different types of FS, air shocks and wheel sizes". Dude, how long has it been since you walked into a bike shop or picked up a mag?

All these things that you stated have been around for at least six or seven years. 29ers have been around since 2000 roughly, and the hydraulic brakes since the 1990s, air since IDK when, but all this stuff has been taken from Dirtbikes and simplified from there. Who knows, maybe in ten years, bikes will have a rotor on each side of the rim.

What IS difficult is trying to keep up with what is supposed to be the Latest and Greatest. I guess that's why we have MBA and this website....

The idea I was attempting to get across is the constant improvements in FS, Hydraulic Brakes, design, seats, bars, shifters, pedals (yes pedals), wheels, frame materials improvement, powerful lights, helmets, apparel, and accessories!

( constant improvement moving ahead by leaps and bounds )

Yet with all this innovation I went out a couple months ago and picked myself up a fully rigid steel SS. And I couldn't be happier! I guess that would be a FRSSS?
