Noob's perspective of Tour Divide
Howdy guys,
I managed to start a Wordpress for my tour divide writing. I'll be uploading all the chapters by the end of this weekend. Right now, I'm up to chapter 4. I believe I've caught all the spelling, grammar, and things that don't make sense. Hopefully.
If you are thinking about this race, give it a read.
I'm a total cycling noob, as far as TD is concerned. This is an account written by a total noob.

Excellent so far. I can only imagine how a hot meal tastes at the end of one of those long dreary days. Keep up the great writing as I'm subscribing to this one.

Great writing! I read chapter 4 completely before realizing it was not chapter 1...lol. I think it should be published in Dirt Rag.

Thanks for sharing! The way you describe your experience is exactly the reasons I am drawn to outdoors activities.

Great stuff, I'm probably stood just to your left for your day 1 photo outside the hostel. Reading your narrative brings it all back

FNFAL, that lunancy is something I've had on the back back burner for a few years now. I'm way too out of shape, but it sure is nice reading about it. Well done.
+1 rep for you!

I'll probably go back and add more of substance to the first day. Like I said, it's all very rough, but I'm cleaning it up as I go. I'm glad you guys are enjoying it! Merry Christmas!
After Christmas, I'll stick the rest of the chapters up.

After dropping out injured last year in Wyoming I still have the itch to go back try again and make it to Antelope Wells.

I have reformatted my postings. They are now available in links at the top of the page. I also have added chapter 12. I will add a few more tonight after work.

I met some campers while on my way out of the steep valley and decided to stop, chit chat, and get something to eat. Apparently one of them was from San Antonio. Just two guys in their late 20s who’ve been best friends for years that, every few months, need to get away from their lives and wives and go out to the country. Sounds good to me!
Sounds like a plot to a movie

Great writing man. I'm all caught up through chapter 12 and can't wait for more!

Well Sunburn, chapter 13 is up!
