No drunks on this ride... Photos....

And please, feel sorry for me, my legs hurt from riding 4 days in a row for a total of 12+ hours.

Oh, wait, there may have been some drinking after this photo, but I do not believe there were any negative encounters:

But the rest of the photos are related to the kids' ride, definitely sans alcohol...

First, the prep work must be done:

One of these things is not like the others...

OK, here are the ride shots:

    That's all for now.

No fair posting shots of cookies... I am so hungry right now but will have to settle for crackers.

It's made from the "leftover dough" that I scrape down from the sides of the bowl.... No chocolate chips in the leftovers, so I roll it in cinnamon and sugar. My kids would fight over the "leftovers" so I started making whole batches that way.

I believe that's one of those mini lights that all the hipsters are using.

    Yeah! I'm a hipster!

It's a little Frog light, made by Knog. Super easy to put on the bike, and lights are required after dark. The fine for riding drunk in Fruita is less than riding without a light... Does that make sense?

However, if it was the other option, that might make me even more hipster and cool. But alas, all my hipsterness comes from the practical aspect of having a light that can be switched easily from one bike to the next... Truth be told, I'm a dork.

Got it all wrong! With the maybe some drinking, and the cookie.

I thought one of her friends slapped a diaphram on her bike.

The MTB pics were awesome as usual, but I spent 8.43x more time staring at those chocolate chip cookies than I did any of the MTB pics. And then, I went back and stared at them some more. Then I started fantasizing about a tall glass of ice cold milk.

Frog Knogs ... cheap, easily mountable lights. Great for keeping me from hgetting a no-light ticket while riding home from the trails (and beer stop after).

    Baked goods.....

Ask and you shall receive. Various photos of baking projects in various stages of preparedness.

Melting chocolate for brownies, or maybe it was for mousse:

    This becomes cookies:

    Brownies in the making:

    Chocolate chip cookie dough:

    Cookies!

PEACHES! Almost ready to be put in the oven and made into cobbler:

    PEACHES! So yummy!

    Coconut macaroons:

    My daughter's birthday cake:

    Cheesecake starting to bake:

My specialty, a chocolate torte with a layer of chocolate mousse and whipped cream on top:

    Chocolate marble cheesecake:

Espresso cheesecake with a chocolate fudge swirl:

Yep, I like food and I love to make desserts.

And for good measure, 2 photos from yesterday's ride, my 7th ride in 8 days (not my photos, but I'm in them!):

    Stopping to look.

    Riding a new section.

I think you're talking about the peaches for the peach cobbler. I'll go back and edit the post with captions...

I have no idea if the bikes in the pics are FS or HT or rigid. I have no idea what color they are or what brand. I do know that I looked at melted butter w/brown sugar, CC cookie dough, baked (to perfection) CC cookies, macaroons, cobbler, an incredible looking chocolate torte and an expresso cheesecake with fudge swirls. . . . . for more than a few minutes.

And I hope some poor mindless fool didn't have to actually eat any of that

I must've missed the post about a new(er) Spot? Been off the board for a while now and not as active in between boards as much..(Obi=Obionespeedonly).

Hey now, no showing up with cookies unless there's enough for the class.

I expect a pm reply asking for our shops ship to address.
If not, I'll happily accept some marmalade or peach preserves in bribe to stave off our hungry groms.
