My 1st mtb ride in just over 9 year

Some back history. Left for basic about 9 years ago, sold all of my bikes. Bought a Kona after a year in Qatar. Rode it twice 4 years ago, but 2 flats on one ride and a fall that broke a part on the 2nd ride was it then.

In the last 4 months or so I have been building up an Ellsworth. I still had the Kona, but I gave it to my wife. Today we did our 1st ride together, her 1st mtb ride ever and my 1st in just over 9 years. I forgot how much I enjoyed it. I am glad to be back out there again. We only did 6 miles, as it was 100 out.

    Build specs of the bike.

    Frame-Ellsworth Epiphany Non-SST
    handlebars -Easton Monkey Bar
    seat post-Syncros
    fork-Fox 140 talas 15q
    wheels-Sun charger comp
    front del-lx
    rear del-x.0
    brakes-xt disc
    tires-Kenda Nevegal
    stem-aka am
    headset-cane creek

Total build cost just over 2500

Welcome back. The first time getting back on a bike is always so much fun. Four years ago, I basically started riding again after getting laid off from a job that prevented me from riding in the first place. That whole time working, made me now appreciate riding and being outdoors.

For even more enjoyment, level out that saddle!
