I feel rather dumb but then again I really didn't bother too look lol. The story begins: Not too long ago, I had an incident where my quick release came loose while riding .
1. Since my bikes under warranty I brought it in to Dicks and they put my tire on from the quick release coming loose. Also my brake pad fell out as they were doing it, so they put that back in*. Now I was sent off on my marry way. Next time out riding I hear this metal on metal sound but thought nothing of it.
2. Brought the bike in again too a diff. store, they said I had a bent rotor and the guy adjusted my brakes. Hit some trails yesterday and my rear brake locked up and the pad fell out :skep:. So while I was there I adjusted my rear brakes so that I couldn't use them and the grinding would stop. Figured I'd just take it back to Dicks and I wanted to get more riding time in. After doing that, forgetting that front brakes don't act like rears because of the weight diff. I grab the lever and there goes my jewels, I should have let myself go over the bars instead... :cryin:
Well, after an hour in the garage because I didn't feel like going back. I inspected my rotor to find that it was grinded to shist. I discovered that the tech. guy at the 1st Dicks put my brake pad in backwards :eekster: The metal side was acting as the pad :nono: I don't know why the second tech. at the 2nd store I went too didn't catch it but I did  Not angry at all, they treat me well and the guy there is really cool. He helped me alot when I was starting out, I find it rather funny and proves people make mistakes. It's life Just thought I'd share.....Going riding again tonight
