Is anybody here using this adapter? It is a replacement for the plastic bushing on your mavic freehub.

Used it with pretty good results. Stopped the cassette from moving off line and ghost shifting. Follow the instructions included with the kit and it shouldnt be any trouble to install.
It's such a fine line between idiocy and genius.

I used it for about two years and it is nice. The inboard bearing is thin, and I don't particularly like ceramic bearings, but it lasted and lessened the friction of the original bushing. The outboard hybrid bearing used inside the freehub body sucked and the ceramic balls cracked under load. It is easy to replace with a better stainless NSK (Japanese) bearing when your unscrew the cap. The HubDoctor now has an all stainless (25x32x4) inboard bearing for about 10 bucks on ebay. I eventually used it to replace the inboard hybrid. Unfortunately, my old Crossmax rear rim failed and I replaced the wheelset before I was able to see if the all stainless inboard bearing was as smooth and durable as the hybrid.
The seal on the HubDoctor Pro Kit is also much better that the original Mavic seal and it keeps out dirt better. I used a light sythetic oil recommened by the HubDoctor on the small inboard bearing and pawls with good success. It stayed clean and lasted much longer than the mineral oil.
