    Marshall Mesa Sunset Series (xpost)

Marhsall Mesa south of Boulder is one of my favorite spots for a not-too-easy, not-too-hard outing, especially if I have time to get up to the High Plains Trail. Post-work rides this summer have provided some inspiring sunsets over the Flatirons and Eldorado Canyon. This was my 20th summer in Boulder and I still can't believe that I get to live here.

    Here's one from June.

I led one of the last "girl's rides" in late August and we were treated to stunning evening light and clouds over the Flatirons.

Very very nice. I love riding when the clouds are low and the sun is peeking thru late in the day.

Dont make me be the bad guy...

Do I need a pass to ride this trail?

Good stuff, thanks for making me jealous once again.
"There are those who would say there's something pathological about the need to ride, and they're probably on to something. I'd wager though that most of the society-approved compulsions leave deeper scars in the psyche than a need to go and ride a bicycle on a mountain." Cam McRea
