Marchember - Too Hot in Phoenix/Christmas Eve In the Desert Ride

80 degrees yesterday. Felt like March. Smelled like March. Way too hot to ride. Yea, right. Phoenix has its advantages.

No action shots. This was a solo ride. But, there is a pic of my new shoe. Vibram soles.

Beautiful SS you have there. Those trails look pretty techy too.

Almost, we have three Lakes in the desert around Vegas too -- my mx165s, Lake Mead & Lake Las Vegas.

I like my Lakes by the way, much more comfortable to walk and hike in than my several pairs of Northwave Teams.

We had one of those yesterday in Texas, too. 80 degrees and had to find the sunscreen. Gorgeous day to ride the new trails at Government Canyon State Natural Area on the west side of San Antonio. Keep thinking we need to do a road trip to find some new riding, but the weather is so great and there are so many fun trails in Central Texas that its hard to get motivated to load the van and head west!
