I am making a commercial the week of May 28th and I am looking for a female mountain biker who rides with a pure-bred trail dog. Here is the pitch from the casting director:
Real Female Mountain biker and her pure-bred dog that runs trails with her. Skilled mountain biker. Dog with shorter coat preferable.
We are shooting the w/o May 28th (after Memorial day)
These are internet spots and the pay is SAG scale: $627 for shoot day (for 8 hrs) & a buyout of $1570 for one year of usage. There is a possibility that there will be some print too (if so, there will be additional pay of $1000) . And there will be additional pay for use of the dog and/or for "stunt pay" for should our mountain biker perform any stunts... (a plus but not necessary).
AND if you send out this info to family, friends & colleagues, please ask that they send in their submissions to us to : firstname.lastname@example.org
Include contact info, background, location, recent pictures of person and the dog, and dog’s breed...
Thanks for the kind words and positive feedback. It was my first time directing a commercial (I usually just shoot them) so that means a lot to me. Thanks!

ha ha. Yeah she did clear the log. There is a take with them going over it together, but they ended up liking the one that focused on the dog instead. I did put a few dead branches on the approach side to help her over. She didn't want them but I insisted because it was the first shot of the day and I couldn't afford to hurt her until the last shot Fortunately nobody got hurt and it was a fun day.

She is a local rider from the Breckenridge/Dillon area where we were shooting. She and Roxy worked really hard and did an amazing job. She is on MTBR but not sure if that's how she found out about it. The casting folks and ad agency mostly handled that part of it with a little help from me posting on here and a few local bike club forums. I believe she was recommended from a local bike shop but not sure. Gotta ask her again.
