Last weekend was the Pisgah Gathering...and where were you? i was in a good state of mind all 4 days. what a great turn out no idea the headcount, saturday i would guess around 50 or so . our largest group ride saturday was 22.

Awesome riding, Great trails and Good friends, lots of fun.

it'll started Thursday afternoon with Mark, Bill, Andy and i doing Longbranch, Butter Gap, Cat Gap then up Davidson back to the Hatchery then Erol (SirBikes-a-Lot) and Daniel doing a Caney Bottom nightride.

felt like doing something different with the photos.

Awesome, Awesome pictures Brad!! Maybe on the DVD you can do a slideshow sectionwith all the the pictures from the trip. Id also pay extra if it where a 2 disc deal and the second disk being pictures from the trip. Also, who is the odd ball on the end of the group picture with no helmet?? Theres always a rebel.

    Sweet pictures!

I had a little laugh while looking at them though. Some of the riding pics with the riders in color and the environment in black and white look exactly like some of the trails here in the Laurel Highlands in Winter

    Amazing Brado.
    Thanks for ALL the efforts.

What did you use to create the isolated color effect in the wonderful pics?

Photoshop..... took the color image and copied the element of the image i wanted to keep colored... turned the image from and rgb to a greyscale.... then to a doutone....then back to an rgb image .....then pasted the cut element...... then cut and feathered background elements out. after a couple of them it got easier and easier to do. it was weird though how some pix became totally fake looking... as if i took a photo of the trail, and then added the rider for another photo... i wanted to do something different, than just another post with a lot of pictures.

Thanks for the post Brad! Great photos and interesting effects. I can honestly say that I would not have the patience to do that many photos like that! I will have to try and download the videos later. Sirbikesalot's site isn't working right now.
