    A Little fatty love

    X-post from Fatbikes forum:

I don't post to Passion much anymore, finally have some shots worthy of a post:

A few from today. I did a group ride on my RIP9 this morning and just had a jones to get out on the Fatty this afternoon. It certainly wasn't because I didn't get a workout this morning!

I decided this would be a picture ride.

    A little rock crawling:

    Off camber? No problemo:

A wide skinny, but look how much of my front tire is OFF the log:

    More rock crawling:

Now this is a skinny skinny:

    Corner lean, oh yeah:

Not super fantastic biking shot, but the ledges at this park are very cool:

    A little more rock crawling:

...the fall color is still hanging on, though sometimes that "hanging on" is more of a decomposing thing:

Did you let anyone see you? You know, like riding a moped?

I saw a few hikers, who were all quite amused by my funny looking bike.

Its the Motobecane FB-4 from Bikesdirect. So far it seems like a really good deal.

Canoe-man, I am passionate about your fenders on that Moonie. What are they?

Nice bike!! The more I read about the fat bikes the more interested I am. I was not aware that Motobecane made one these, that may put one within reach. Thanks for posting!

The first run sold out in a week or so, I think you can still get in line for the second run, which is due to ship Feb/March.

They are from Big O MFGing. They're for a Necro, but with some mods fit the ML'r just fine.

Awesome. I've been so freaking busy I haven't been able to ride ANYTHING.

I'll be out soon enough. Thanks for the post! Looks awesome indeed.

Here's an old fat bike vid from way back when I had it set up as a single speed. WOW. Lots of work as an SS once the snow really hit. Now run Marge Lites and an Alfine 8 :-)

    I love my fat bike.
