The heat is on, football is on, as I eye my rear flat tire. Need to go over and fix that before the New Years Day ride begins in 2.5 hours. Ahhh, Passion, yes I must have it to be able to head out into this cold. But heck, there will be 16 others at the trailhead.
I just moved to Salem Oregon went to Falls city yesterday started snowing half way up, did the soggy single track thing on the way down and felt great after the ride. Have fun, I used to live in Bellingham WA, dont know where you are, but you have to try the Galbriath mountians in Whatcom county. Have a great one
Happy New Year! I couldn't miss ofcourse my 1st (and MUDDY) ride in 2005. It rained all day yesterday and the day before yesterday and....anyway there was a lot of mud and water puddles. It is a quite good ride. Temps around 40F. Only 24km because I was tired though.
Today (2005 - 1 -2) i went again a kind of epic ride (almost 3 hours). It was quite good, only a bit of mud, sunny, no wind and temp around 35-40F. I'll try this year to be out riding as more as possible.
I wish all we had here in WI was cold, I woke up to about 1/8" of ice covering EVERYTHING. Not too good for riding, but It's real purty in the sunlight though.
