I saw him on the news last night. He's a computer engineer with experience in pro sound(lighting control), but it really wouldn't be hard to build a controller to go with the lights. It costs him 150 bucks a month though.

I read an article on it. That was last years, this year's isn't as good.

It is tuned to shortwave radio, so you turn on a certain frequency on your radio and it plays over your radio - so no one outside w/o one can hear it. It goes on once every hour. Coolest **** ever.

that's all i've got. we're getting a small tree this weekend.

yeah, the cat was going nuts trying to get to the thing. stuck a chair over there with a box for him to get up with. and right as i'm taking the pic, he decides it's good idea to start licking his crotch.

    An Oahu XMAS

2 of the last 3 Christmases I have been living in Mililani. This is my last before moving.
My tree---no lights because the cat likes to play in the tree:
edit--the tensil is now taken off too.

Here is the Honolulu City Hall tree just after being lit at the ceremony the other night:

And finally here is one of Mililani High's finest:

Next year I expect to be in a somewhat cold place--Texas, AZ, or CO.

    Happy Holidays everybody!

Very Cool tree Anthony! Reminds me when i was a kid, there was a guy down the street who had this huge hundred year old oak tree and would do all white lights on every limb and branch, very cool became like a beacon from the neighborhood.

heres our tree (wife gets all the credit) every year she adds a couple thousand lights next year tree of wires! turned out pretty cool

bottom pic - MiniMe ready for it!
    Happy Holidays Everyone!

    Here Mine

Fortunately, I live in a small 600 sq.ft. home that is pretty easy to decorate. I kinda dig my penguins. I'm not much for indoor decorations...but it is nice to show off my outdoor decorating efforts for all the hot neighbor babes who drive by.

I love how our city block is getting into the lights this year, made it a treat walking back/forth to the laundromat tonight

Some are pretty tacky, but they make me laugh. I strung up some lights in our front window, then got some more for the rest of the living room. At night the living room looks gorgeous in the soft glow of little colored lights.

For some reason, my anal-nutcase roommate unplugged them earlier, so our window was dark. WTF??

Anyway, my old apt. was next door to an otherwise plain house on the corner. One Christmas, I heard music coming from the manger scene on the lawn and took a closer look: The usual assortment of figurines was there, but also a bunch of helium balloons on the manger ceiling with a sign proclaiming "Happy Birthday Jesus!"

LOL! Reminds me of the scene in Full Metal Jacket where R.Lee Ermey(sp) leads the boys in singing Happy Birthday to Jesus. I'm told this idiotic behavior actually went on, I'm glad I spent my time at Parris Island during the Summer.

Jumpin' jehosofat! I forgot to post the pic.

Here's my crappy little 2-foot tall tree. Space is tight, so it's small. over-decorated yet still get's the point across.

Sadly, the star on top has gone missing. Okay, where the hell did the cat go!

My in-laws sing happy birthday to Jesus!!! Seriously... the first time i spent an x-mas with them, i nearly freaked. I had such a hard time biting my tongue, and not explaining to them that Jesus was born in September, and x-mas was very much a pagan holiday centering around hallucinogenic mushrooms handed out by shamans wearing -- you guessed it, red and white.
The mushrooms grew under evergreens, and we red and white as well.

Oh, uh, no x-mas lights on my house, sorry. My parents did by some stockings for our dogs, though.

    Merry Christmas!!

Just got finished putting out the presents.

This is from a couple of years ago, but it looks the same this year.... minus the snow. Kind of the trailer trash scheme with the milk jug luminaries.
