    It's been a while - photodump! [o]

Humidity over, leaves coming down, blahblahblah. The usual east coast fall into winter blather. Rode a couple new to me spots, hit up plenty of the usual as well. Gave and got some tours.

Helped out with a cathartic riding moment or two, and had some of my own. I love it when a plan comes together, yaknow?

That vortex thing happened recently, but oddly enough, we had some colder temps before that hit. Meh. Either way, breathing and working outside is tough when that cold. Managed a few days of riding in single digits, but truth be known, when it's that cold...I'm more than happy to sit on the couch with the dog, a book, and a beer.

Holiday things occured. Food was eaten. Company was enjoyed. Good times.

    Some October stuff.

Frequent riding budy Pete on some skinnies.

    Getting my shrubbery on.

    What's in your wallet?

Was actually pedaling the other directionup this trail, but this little bit looked fun to play on.

I'm thinking this needs to end up a log over to skinny drop off move. Just gotta' get it going.

    Myopic.

    Burp!

Best feature of some new shorts.

A little nose heavy off the end of that one...

Sold a bike, built up a bike.

Pretty sure there is a noid hanging out underneath those leaves.

    Dr. Mike.

    Indeed.

    In the land of rock.

Balance beam is deceptive. Starts out smooth, seems easy. One you hit the center section, it sways rather disconcertingly.

    November.

    Good carbs?

    Sucks.

While riing with me a few years back, Eli messed herself up (well, down, really) pretty good on this drop. Finally the time was right.

What? You're leaving me to go ride? Dick.

    Coaching.

    Make that turn!

    December.

Got myself up to a spot I relly enjoy riding, but seem to not hit as often as it deserves. Resolution time! It involves some sloging, but the reward is worthwhile.

Went back the next day, but dragged Pete along.

I love this little place. Roughly seven miles of rail crammed into under 200 acres.

    Dipping into January, NYD actually.

Everything shown here is within 45 minutes of Danbury, Ct.

Lots of short & steep ups & downs. Tight twisty tech with bursts of fast bits, lots of trialsy play options. Not much in the way of long climbing or descending.

    Thanks for the compliments everyone!

    Nice pixels!
"There are those who would say there's something pathological about the need to ride, and they're probably on to something. I'd wager though that most of the society-approved compulsions leave deeper scars in the psyche than a need to go and ride a bicycle on a mountain." Cam McRea
