But I don't think that I got the full expiriance as it was about 60 degrees outside. The down side was that the trail was mostly icey mud, I think I would have preferred freezing temps.

To ride in the woods in the snow the temp needs to be around 20. With the snow soft and slushy your better off snowshoeing to pack the trails. Then when they freeze over they are great for riding. Check out our website for lots of winter riding and snowshoeing pictures and videos.
I didn't really know I was going on a snow ride, it's pretty much melted everywhere else. We've had three or four fairly warm days in a row, so I just expected a little mud. I was wrong.
