    Good Riding December Day 2012

Sedona is experiencing some great late season weather. 73 yesterday and near 70 today. Considering that I'm from Wisconsin and it is December ... this is good. We are several days after Thanksgiving and well ahead of Christmas and there are very few visitors or tourists.

What could make this good day great? KRob stopped by on his way to Phoenix. We had some previously unexplored trails to share with this guy that 'rides everything', 'cleans everything' and 'doesn't complain while riding uphill on a 40 pound bike'. Rare qualities, indeed. Good guy and great rider:

The clouds in the sky kept changing the light and colors ... Wow! No photoshop, all of these pics are posted natural from my crappy camera. Still, a good way to capture the riding fun with KRob ...

This is going to be a great day.

Well, aside from the car tire problems and the bike lock that wouldn't unlock
We almost had NO ride on this great day. We push on:

KRob rides the Plumbers Crack like it's easy
And the switch backs, again, with ease.
Sorry, vids are not loading at this time

    Must be the bike

Thanks for looking me up on your way through town, KRob.
    Until next ride ....
If lovin you is wrong, I don't wanna be right

Awesome riding with you zul! Sorry about the pre-ride kerfluffels. I swear there's something about me and Sedona with these kinds of mishaps. Last time I was supposed to hook up with some guys to ride I got stuck in the dam traffic up at Hoover and missed the main ride completely. Thanks for bearing with me.

Great trails. Wow. That was some first rate tech we did right there. Good stuff and I can't think of anything to complain about with regards to the scenery. Double Wow. Spectacular doesn't begin to describe it.

Thanks for the props. I didn't see you having any problems with any of that stuff either.

I got some good shots of you as well. I'll get them posted up later.

They're more like trapezoids or diamonds. We didn't always feel obigated to follow them but it's a much better line than the loose dirt chute that used to be the trail.

Sorry you weren't able to make it RM. Good times..

Got home last light from my AZ trip (where my cord which attaches my camera to my computer is) so finally got a few uploaded.

    Man, what a ride!

Didn't get any pics from the first two thirds of the ride, but here's zul dropping in on Hangover.

Rolling it out. Pick a line. It's all good.

The views? Meh, I've seen better.

Dispite my pre-ride delays we got back to the truck just as the golden light was fading behind the cliffs.

Thanks again for the ride, zul. Perfect day despite the tire and lock mishaps.
