I have been wanting to go out and attempt this ride since BIKE did an article on it years ago. Very awesome write up Mike makes me want to pack my truck up and leave right now!

I'm running out of free weekends this year. I'm in St. George this weekend, Sedona/Phoenix the next (I know, hard to complain about that), then I've got a nephew's wedding the week after that, then Christmas...Hmmm.

Hell freezes over in January-March most years, no? Might have to wait until spring. We'll see what the weather brings, though.

I'd say you're excused til spring. If winter happens, that is...

Skippy's take on the day is HERE.

Good to see him killing it with a camera in his hand again.

    DT or 5Spot?....... Or KTM?

    Pick a date, cupcake.

Maybe I'll even load up the XR.
Since when did Need have anything to do with this?

Let's bring both. One day on the bikes.... the next on the motos! It's beating me down just thinking about it.

Like I said, I'm running out of free weekends this year. Heading to Sedona/Phoenix this coming weekend (I know, hard to complain about that), then I've got a nephew's wedding the week after that, then Christmas...... Whine, Whine, Whine.

Hell freezes over in January-March most years, no? Then you'll be skiing until spring.
    How's April?

Fantastic Mike! This one's been on my list for years but I just haven't made it happen, in part because, as you said, not many riders look at that kind of riding as fun. The one bud I had that'd enjoy it moved to Denver. (Hey icegeek, you wanna drag him out with you when you go?). The place looks beautiful, and I'm gonna bump it up the priority list thanks to this passion hit. Thx!
We rejoice in our suffering, knowing that suffering produces endurance, and endurance produces character.
