    First post in years!

    Hi gang,

I used to be called "boatman" here but now I'm Clepsydra.

    How about that?

I used to post here all the time several years ago.

    Glad to be back.

Tell good 'ol Finch Platte I said hi.

He has a lousy preference for music. (ha!)

Anyway, I'm thinking about getting a FUEL 95. I rode one yesterday and it was real nice.

The other one I'm looking into is a Gary Fisher Cake 2, but really the components on the Fuel are what I want.

What do you guys think about that Fuel 95?

    Thanks-

    Clepsydra

My first time posting in a very long time too.
I know absolutely nothing about the two bikes you mentioned.

Whats the story on them, XC bikes, Trail Bikes?

SC's line looks real nice this year, seen a lot of bullits, blurrs, hecklers, and superlights around lately.

    Hey man,

Those bikes are basically FS "trail" type, mainly for regular riding sweet singletrack as opposed to bombing downhill and doing tricks and all that.

I'm way leaning towards the Fuel 95.

    Peace.

    Yo ho ho

    Dood,

    Thanks for the link.

The LBS wants $2300 for a Fuel 95 with full XT.

Or $1300 for the frame + rear shock.

Hell, for that much coin I can get a Blur frame, almost.
